Since its founding in 1926, Leo Catholic High School has grown to become one of the premiere athletic programs in the state of Illinois. Leo has a deep and rich tradition that reflects the true meaning of commitment, denying selfishness, accepting reality, yet seeking improvement and promoting the good of the team above self.

An athletic/academic support program monitors the academic progress of each student/athlete, makes available appropriate academic resources that if properly utilized enhances the student/athlete's effort to succeed in the classroom.

The athletic program pride themselves on community involvement through participation in many area-wide causes.

Coach John Wooden once said, "Success is peace of mind which is the direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you did you best to become the best that you are capable of becoming." The athletic program of Leo is here to help each student/athlete gain the self-satisfaction of doing the best in all aspects of life.
