| Dear Leo Men, We would like to thank all the Leo men who helped put together this wonderful event on July 11th, and those who came out solo or with family and friends to show support and gave dollars. This was the 2nd Annual All Class Reunion Picnic, but it's just the beginning of our renewed effort to get all alumni involved and give back to the school we love, Leo High School. With our continued support, Leo will not just survive, but grow even stronger. As we said, this is just the beginning. The next event coming up is the 8th annual Eric D. Lee Memorial Scholarship Fundraiser. It will go on as planned, despite the tragic loss of my baby brother, Steven, in March. It's an extremely difficult time for me and my family, but I feel it's essential that we continue on in this work. I'm not quite ready for t-shirts and buttons with Stevie's name and face on them quite yet. It's even hard for me to contemplate adding Stevie's name to the scholarship, but it will indeed eventually be the Eric and Steven Lee Memorial Scholarship Fund. The event will take place once again at Meadows Golf Club in Blue Island from about 6:00 pm-1:00 am on Saturday, July 31st. Tickets will be $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Checks should still be made payable to the Eric D. Lee Memorial Scholarship Fund until I can make all the necessary changes. I hope you can make it out to help me honor and celebrate the lives of Eric('81) and Steven('95), support Leo, and have a great time. The money will once again be used to provide an opportunity for young men to attend the best school in the city. In the 8 years of our existence,we have donated over $20,000 to Leo and young men who attended Leo. By supporting education and Leo, we're hoping we can make a difference in the lives of as many as we can, which will in turn, slow down the violence that has claimed the lives of Eric and Steven, and so many others in our city. The last event, will be the Golf Outing on August 4th sponsored by the Leo Alumni Association.
